Antioch’s Homecoming was filled with spirited activities, beginning with a friendly Powder Puff flag football game. A huge thanks goes to the Antioch village organizations of police, fire, and public works departments for their support of theThursday night parade that brought the community together. This was followed by an energetic pep rally at the stadium, featuring a bonfire and a stunning fireworks display. The week’s highlight was the football team’s impressive victory over rival Lakes Community High School. The festivities culminated on the 21st night of September with a Homecoming Dance that saw nearly 1,000 students in attendance, transforming the gym into a lively concert atmosphere and marking a memorable conclusion to the week’s celebrations.
