ACHS: Student Success
This spring, senoir Jacey Schuler completed a truly terrific softball career earning All-American honors twice. She’s arguably the best softball player to represent Antioch in the history of the program. She ended her dominating career in the pitching circle with a W/L record of 86-14 while landing on the all-time IHSA records list for career grand slams (#2) and career runs batted-in (#13). Her influence as a leader at Antioch Community High School resonates with the student-body. Selected as Female Student-Athlete of the Year, her poise and command in competition, and selfless support of her peers acted as shining examples of all the best aspects of amateur athletics. As Michigan State University’s top recruit, Jacey will have the opportunity to test her mettle in the newly reimagined Big Ten Conference against some premier collegiate lineups including perennial National Championship contenders the Washington Huskies and UCLA Bruins.
