CHSD117: AP Program
Community High School District 117 has an excellent Advance Placement (AP) program with many successes. Students taking an AP class complete their experience with a culminating AP exam given during the first two weeks of May. Every year, the College Board recognizes students who have demonstrated outstanding college-level achievement through their performance on multiple AP exams during their time in high school. AP Scholar Awards come in different levels and types, with the criteria listed to the right. D117 experienced tremendous growth for all levels of AP Scholar Awards. We are proud of our students’ achievements, and they will be recognized by Antioch and Lakes Community High Schools this fall.
