Lakes Twentieth Anniversary Sculpture Unveiled

27

To celebrate 20 years of LCHS, we have commissioned Don Rambadt, the local artist who created our eagle sculpture at the main entrance, to design four unique flag holders for the Commons. Each class flag will be displayed with a steel eagle representing the four stages of an eavgle’s development, similar to the four years our high school students experience. The four metallic eagles with progressively changing plumage will represent our LCHS Eagles and how they significantly change through their four years in high school.

The first sculpture was unveiled at our Celebration Day on May 2, 2025, but we will need funding for the next three sculptures. If you would like to contribute to this permanent recognition of our 20th anniversary, please contact Principal Jori Bowen at jori.bowen@chsd117.org or 847-838-7260.
