On October 21, District 117 hosted an exciting Math Fair at the McKay Center that added up to a fantastic evening of learning and fun! With 95 D117 students participating, they created 30 challenging, age-appropriate math games tailored for students in grades K-6. The high school students engaged with over 90 younger learners, showcasing their math knowledge and helping them navigate through the activities. Participants earned points as they played, which they could exchange for fun prizes at the end of the night. With such a successful event, we can’t wait to multiply the fun and host the Math Fair again next year!
