We are thrilled to introduce three exceptional professionals who have recently joined the Antioch CCSD 34 administration team. With a strong commitment to student success and a wealth of experience, Carole Allert, McKenna Gomez, and Aimee Redding are poised to make a significant impact on our schools, students, and programming.

Carole Allert, Director of Student Services
Carole Allert brings over 30 years of experience in education and student services. Her career has been marked by her dedication to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments. With a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, Carole has led numerous initiatives aimed at improving student outcomes, family relationships, and well-being. As the new Director of Student Services, Carole will oversee programs designed to support students’ academic, social, and emotional needs. Her innovative approach and proven leadership make her an invaluable addition to our district.

McKenna Gomez, Coordinator of Student Services
After serving as a classroom and Special Education teacher in the district, McKenna Gomez officially joined the D34 administration team this summer. As the Coordinator of Student Services, McKenna will collaborate closely with schools to implement and enhance services that support student achievement and well-being. She will focus on parent involvement and community resources and will work to foster a relationship of communication and trust with our families and community partners. Her commitment to student success is evident in her hands-on approach and her dedication to building strong relationships within the community.

Aimee Redding, Coordinator of Multilingual Education
Aimee Redding brings a wealth of experience in multilingual education and a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by English Language Learners (ELs). Aimee has successfully implemented programs that have significantly improved EL student outcomes in her previous district. In her role as Coordinator of Multilingual Education, Aimee will focus on developing and refining programs that support the linguistic and academic growth of our multilingual students. Her expertise and passion for technology and language education will be instrumental in fostering an inclusive and enriching educational environment.

Superintendent Aron Borowiak expressed his excitement about the new hires, stating, “We are incredibly fortunate to have Carole, McKenna, and Aimee join our team! I am confident that their contributions and the support they will provide to staff will have a profound impact on our schools, students, and the overall quality of our education programs. I look forward to seeing the positive changes and growth that will come from their leadership.”
