Hillcrest Elementary School is “Going Places” for the 2022-2023 school year and is delighted to welcome new staff members to the Hurricane Family! We have expanded our Structured Learning Program by adding a new classroom. Our new Special Education Structured Learning teachers are Kim Singh and Jessica Retzke. Our music team is also growing, with the addition of local musician Dave Ness, who will be teaching general music, and Sarah Miller, who will be teaching strings. To our classroom teacher team we have added Rachel Andrew in first grade, Amy Maslon in 4th grade, and Ashley Figueroa in 4th grade. Kristin Pfeiffer is joining us as our new EL teacher, and Erin Woodville as a Special Education Assistant. We are excited to welcome Chrissy Berzin as our new nurse.
With every new school year, we celebrate new beginnings. As the Hillcrest family continues to expand, we have much to be thankful for and to look forward to. Hillcrest is going places in ‘22-’23, and we cannot wait!
