The Regional Office of Education recently launched an annual countywide program to honor exceptional educators and staff members. Emmons Board of Education members and parents developed a criteria for this award based on values promoted in the Emmons community. Teachers and staff members were then nominated by their fellow Emmons personnel. This year’s recipients were Kimberly Meyer, Social Worker, and Nicolle Deacon, Paraprofessional. They were honored alongside all Lake County award winners at a countywide dinner organized by the Regional Office of Education.
