Students in 6th grade created and shared a museum-like space for the Spring 2025 Project Based Learning Showcase. One of the fourteen projects on display answered the PBL Driving question, “How did the ideas and achievements of Ancient Greece influence the way we live, govern, and think today?”. This museum quality display captured the curiosity and interest of students from PreK- 8th graders. This was a place where opportunities to look back in time and see and touch items that explored everything from games, warfare, food, religious beliefs and governmental issues. These “museum spaces” were set up throughout the building and students spent two days visiting and learning. A snapshot of these interesting and thought provoking topics about everything from how to hatch chickens to seeing stories shared through stop motion and a Foley artist, learning about the cost of college and using math to create magic. PBL has enriched our curriculum and students are engaged in higher level thinking, problem solving and connecting with other students in the role of teacher and learner.
