As we reflect on this past year, I am proud to share the strides we have made as a community and extend our deepest gratitude to those who have contributed so generously to our collective success.
Celebrating community and generosity this year, we were fortunate to receive outstanding support from our local partners and residents. A heartfelt congratulations and thank you to Marshall Furniture for their generous donation of furniture to our Township Center. Your contributions have made this space more welcoming and functional for all who visit. We also extend our gratitude to Piggly Wiggly in Zion, which, as always, played a crucial role in supporting our Thanksgiving and Christmas gift boxes. Your consistent assistance ensures that holiday joy reaches many families within our community.
We were also deeply touched by the generous $5,000 donation from Dwayne Bookwalter, given through the Georgia Bookwalter Revocable Trust. This incredible gift has been allocated to the renovation of our new senior activity rooms, enhancing the services and spaces that enrich the lives of our seniors. Additionally, our tree program continues to flourish, fostering environmental awareness and beautifying our community.
Looking ahead as we look forward to the coming year, our excitement grows for the projects and community endeavors that lie ahead. We remain committed to improving services, fostering connection, and creating opportunities for all Antioch residents. Thank you for your continued trust and participation in building a stronger, more vibrant township.
Together, we have achieved much, and together, we will continue to thrive.
God Bless Antioch and the USA,
Tom Shaughnessy
