I’m pleased to announce that we have successfully transitioned our Township offices from the Lakes High School location to our new home at 1275 Main Street, Antioch, IL. This new space provides room for growth and brings all of our program activities under one roof. Over the next couple of years, we will be repurposing the lower-level activity rooms to offer spaces for community organization meetings, get-togethers, and teen recreation activities such as wrestling, basketball, volleyball, and pickleball.
Starting Monday, September 30th, all of our Senior programs and activities will be held at the new Township Center. Be sure to check out our Senior Activity Calendar for more details on the exciting programs we have planned!
Additionally, construction on Vern Thelen Park (Phase 1) is progressing, with completion anticipated for Fall 2024. We look forward to announcing a Grand Opening in early Spring 2025. We are also excited to begin organizing youth basketball and volleyball leagues this coming Spring, along with pickleball leagues for all levels.
