Metropolis Performing Arts Center – Arlington Heights
Enjoy a family-style lunch at Francesca’s Italian Restaurant including appetizers, salad, pasta with sausage and wild mushrooms, and roasted chicken breast. Tiramisu for dessert, soda, hot & iced tea are also included. We will then head to see this Tony Award-nominated musical that will take us inside one of the greatest rock-n-roll jam sessions ever recorded, with four legendary musicians: Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carol Perkins.

Nick Psyhogios, a very talented singer, songwriter and entertainer will play songs from Billy Joel, Elton John, Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, Jerry Lee Lewis and more! Cost includes unlimited pizza, salad, dessert, coffee/tea/soda.

The 1970’s Program: Bell-bottoms, Disco, and Nixon
Historian, Jim Gibbons, will present life in the 1970s. Change is what the 70s offered with styles such as bell-bottom trousers, wide ties, flowered shirts, leisure suites, afro hairdos, and patent leather shoes. We also had presidential changes in the oval office. Lite refreshments will be served.

Prior to the play, enjoy lunch with your choice of Salmon or Grilled Chicken Breast which includes a mixed green salad, potatoes and green beans. A vanilla sundae with caramel sauce and coffee and tea are also included. Then take a peek behind closed doors of Buckingham Palace with The Audience, an intimate portrait of Queen Elizabeth II.

Lucille Ball by Leslie Goddard
In the 1950s, comedienne Lucille Ball captured the hearts of tv audiences across the nation. In this historical portrayal, historian and actress Leslie Goddard brings Lucy to life, paying tribute to both the true comic legend and the real woman behind the myth. A lite breakfast will be served.
