Antioch Parks Department Gears Up for Winter

The Holidays are a busy time for the Antioch Parks Department. Santa makes several visits to Antioch in the weeks leading up to Christmas. When the holiday season is over, the wintertime events continue for the Antioch Parks Department. For example, tickets are now available for the popular Winter Wine Walk and the Daddy/Daughter Bowling Date night. 

The Winter Wine Walk takes place on Saturday, January 22nd in Downtown Antioch. This will be the first of three wine walks scheduled for Antioch in 2022. This event is extremely popular and tickets usually go fast! Tickets cost $45 per person and each participant receives a commemorative Antioch wine glass, a bottle of wine, snacks, and a tote for shopping. Participants can take their time strolling through downtown while enjoying sips of wine at participating business locations. Tickets will be available for purchase online or in-person at the Antioch Parks Department office, at 806 Holbek Drive.

Back by popular demand, the Wes Mathison Illusionist show at the PM&L Theatre, Saturday, February 26, 2022. Los Angeles native, Wes Mathison has spent the past few years touring with Broadway’s best-selling magic show, The Illusionists. Wes was featured as The Mentalist during a residency at the El Dorado Showroom and Casino in Reno, NV, and The Starlight Amphitheater in Kansas City, MO.

In addition to the show, you can join in the fun of Wagon of Wine and Liquor- bring a bottle of wine- receive 1 ticket to win the wagon or bring a bottle of liquor- receive 2 tickets to win the wagon. 

The show begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are $45 per person and available at the Parks Department office, or online. 

Finally, registration for the Camp Crayon School Year of 2022-2023 starts in February. The Antioch Parks and Recreation Department provides an abundance of activities, events, and classes throughout the year. All information is available online at Antioch.il.gov.
