Lake Villa Township is excited at present the concept plan for the new community park. The park is located just north of Caboose Park on Fairfield Rd and will include six outdoor pickle ball courts (convertible to tennis), Shuffle board court, in line skate plaza community garden area. Winter uses include two refrigerated ice rinks, one for hockey and free skating. The park will have washroom facilities, fire pits and warming shelter. The parks development and timing is dependent on grant funding but has a projected completion would be fall of 2024.
