Lake Villa Township has been awarded the $600,000 Open Space Land and Development (OSLAD) Grant for the development of our new park. This grant will enable us to create a wonderful community space that will include 16 raised bed community gardens, 6 pickle ball courts, and a shuffleboard court. During the winter months, the pickle ball courts will be converted into a refrigerated ice skating rink, providing residents with even more opportunities for outdoor recreation. We are incredibly grateful for this funding opportunity and look forward to providing our residents with this new, exciting space. We will keep the community updated on the progress of this project as we move forward.
