This summer marked our 8th season of camp at Peacock Summer Adventure Day Camp. Our enrollment was just about 10 campers shy of what we had in 2019. We continued to implement many of the new procedures from 2020 for a more efficient and safe operation. We are happy that we were able to resume all of our activities including our high ropes course. Campers participated in Camp Kindness Day and raised over $200 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and donated dozens of books for Bernie’s Book Bank. We welcomed a petting zoo from Patch 22 alongside our daily activities of swimming, boating, arts & crafts, campfires and outdoor education. We are looking forward to next year and are grateful for the families that entrusted us with their campers this summer.
