Communicating effectively with our families and community is a priority for Community High School District 117. We believe that communication leads to stronger relationships and more powerful collaborations with our students and families, from the first day of school to the last.
Our district uses a variety of communication methods, and we know that families have different communication preferences. We want to keep you informed with all of the wonderful things happening in D117, and we value the important role that parents and families have on our students’ education.

Find up-to-date news, calendars of events, information on registration, athletics and fine arts events, Board meetings, and community resources on our website. Families may also link to Antioch HS and Lakes HS individual websites or search our Staff Directory to contact a teacher or staff member.
Superintendent’s 5 Minute Update
Superintendent Dr. Jeff Feucht sends a monthly email to all families, students, and staff that also gets posted in the news section of the D117 website.
Antioch & Lakes Parent Newsletters
Both of our high schools send out regular communications to our families to let them know about recent events, upcoming items to be aware of, and celebrations of our students and school community.

This quarterly magazine shares news and events throughout the Antioch, Lake Villa, and Lindenhurst communities. In addition to D117 updates, this magazine features updates from Antioch CCSD 34, Emmons School District 33, Lake Villa School District 41, Grass Lake District 36, Village of Antioch, Antioch Township, and Lake Villa Township.
Student Newscasts & Print Publications
Our students do a fantastic job creating regular video newscasts and print publications. You can view our video newscasts on YouTube. You can read our Tom Tom and Eagle Eye online or pick up the full color print editions at the school.
