Athletics: LCHS
Lakes Community High School has only competed in track and field for the past 18 years. While it may seem like a long time, in relative comparison to other programs across the state, Lakes is still very young. Though the school is “young” it has not limited the success of the student athletes in the program. Paul Migas became the 13th state champion in school history when he won the IHSA class 2A pole vault. His mark of 15’5” is among the best marks for sophomores across the country. Paul looks forward to chasing the ultimate goal for 2 more years.
