Math Fair: CHSD117
The 2023 District 117 Math Fair was a sum of many efforts by both Sequoits and Eagles. District 117 students had to multiply their creativity in creating carnival games and simplify their math skills for the age-appropriate math problems for 1st-8th graders. The game quality was exponential this year at the 2nd annual fair where students brought in travel basketball hoops, miniature golf and even Skee-Ball. A great moment of pride was seeing visiting students rush into the McKay Center knowing the order of operations for that evening’s event. The product of the Sequoit and Eagle efforts was a night of total success. Games + Prizes = Math is Cool!
