“Staff Meeting” Teacher Celebration

“Administrator-Ms. Renee and Principal-Ms. Jennifer,” are having a staff meeting for all retired and former teachers! Please bring a dessert and story to share and we encourage you to wear your favorite teacher sweater. We will provide coffee, fun and a surprise guest speaker, too!

Dunn Museum

1899 W. Winchester Road, Libertyville

At the Dunn Museum, their passion is to explore history as a vibrant force that connects us all through time. We will have an hour history presentation on “True Crimes of Lake County” followed by self-guided time in the galleries.

Date: Tuesday, January 30
Location: Township bus departs at 1:30 PM from Antioch Township, 1625 Deep Lake Road, Lake Villa. You can also drive on your own to meet the group for a 2 PM tour.

Fireside Theatre

With phenomenal music, memorable characters, and great storytelling, Jersey Boys follows the fascination evolution of four blue-collar kids who became one of the greatest successes in pop music history.

The Life, Laughter & Legacy of Robin Williams

Historical presenter, Michelle Gibbons, will take you into the life and mind of the comic genius, Robin Williams. Gibbons will discuss Williams’ famous works, movies, TV shows and success; his personal struggles and achievements; as well as the impact he made on others during and after his life. Gibbons will explain how an alien from outer space named Mork became a larger-than-life legend on Earth. Lite refreshments will be served.

Milwaukee’s Fish Fry Tour

We’ll begin our day with a docent-led tour of one of Milwaukee’s beautiful Catholic Churches.  Then make two stops for a generously portioned half-sized classic Milwaukee fish fry along with all of the sides and fixings. Additionally, we’ll visit a brewery for a talk and samples while we say “cheers” to the original beer brewers that helped make Milwaukee and the fish fry what we know today. We will conclude the day with a stop for custard for dessert.
