RELIGIOUS FORUM: CHSD117

This year’s 12th Religious Diversity Forum was again virtual. We had Buddhist, Catholic, Hindu, Islam, Jewish, Mormon, Protestant and Sikh representatives answer questions created by the students. Once again, these individuals from different beliefs and backgrounds shared the screen and students were able to see / hear the commonalities and differences between the religions, but most importantly the mutual respect each religion / representative had for each other. In a society where division and hate have become more prevalent, it is great to see that though the religions are different and we are all different, that we can share a virtual experience that is all inclusive and teaches about the positive in all of us. That is the purpose of the forum and always has been.
