This year marked the 6th Annual Socktober Drive sponsored by Ms. Cambell’s Class. An estimated 600,000 people are homeless in the United States. Last year, over 2,000,000 pairs of socks and other needed items were donated across the nation. At Oakland, we collected items from students, families, and staff members during our October materials pick-up. A big thank you to all that contributed and helped to make a big difference in someone else’s life. We are so grateful for your generosity! Everything collected will go to Open Arms Mission and Antioch Traveling Closet.
