Mrs. Erika Cuzick is an energetic and compassionate teacher that serves Grass Lake School and the surrounding community as our Reading Specialist and one of our lead Response to Interventionists. Mrs. Cuzick absolutely loves everything about reading! Her enthusiasm and dedication to learn new programs or to seek out and develop materials best suited to help a child progress is admirable. Mrs. Cuzick is always looking for unique ways that our district can honor reading such as passing out books at our annual Trunk or Treat celebration, conducting school-wide reading contests, Thursday morning book swaps and encouraging reading buddies. In addition to her amazing ability to teach reading, Mrs. Cuzick is also sought after by all staff to share and try new innovative ideas in the classroom. She is an amazing resource and is always willing to go the extra mile to collaborate with her colleagues.
