Grass Lake Braves soccer team returns again for the fall 2019 season! The team is very young, having only two eighth graders and the addition of three fifth graders. Our focus this season has been on competing daily; whether it is practice or a game, the kids have bought into giving their best effort all of the time and playing hard until the whistle. Our program has a few kids who will look to play soccer in high school, which is always the goal when working extremely hard on individual skill. Most importantly, our team has had a lot of fun during the course of the season. We had a great showing against Emmons, and played extremely well against North Prairie, Prairie Crossing, and Gavin South. As a coach, I am extremely proud of each childs effort and commitment to becoming better team players!
