Former Student Builds Flower Bed for Eagle Scout Project

33

Grass Lake School was honored to have our former student, Dylan K., select his elementary school to conduct his Eagle Scout Project. Dylan worked with Horvat’s in Antioch to arrange for a large order of dirt to be donated to our school for use in our front flower beds. He worked for days removing old shrubs and weeds and then filled the flower bed with new dirt. Perennial grasses and flowers were planted in the new flower bed that will return year after year for GLS Families to enjoy. We are grateful for the school beautification project that Dylan facilitated at Grass Lake School.
