GLS middle school girls were very eager to start off their volleyball season. With no sports available last year due to Covid-19, we had a very fresh, young team with not much experience. The eleven girls really committed to learning and practicing the fundamentals of volleyball everyday. As they continued to practice, you could see their confidence building and their serves getting stronger and stronger. The team ended the season in third place and the girls took third place in the conference tournament as well. Coach Gillengerten is so proud of all the effort the girls put in and can’t wait to see what next season brings!
