Martin Elementary School was honored to be selected as the site for a new outdoor classroom located in the northwest corner of the school. The space was designed by former student Fitzroy Walsh who is completing her Eagle Scout badge. Fitzroy, from Troop #188 in Lake Villa, was able to put her extensive planning into practice on Saturday, April 22, 2023 when she, along with family, friends, scouts, and scouters, assembled tables and benches for ALL Martin Mustangs to enjoy, along with a dry-erase board and storage box for inclement weather. Martin School appreciates being the benefactor of such an incredible donation.
