Students at Martin Elementary have welcomed the Leader in Me improvement model. From trimester leadership assemblies led by students to weekly grade level team building activities where themes of giving and kindness are intertwined as a themed celebration, students are demonstrating their leadership capabilities and living the 7 habits in their daily life. Opportunities abound at Martin with Leadership roles including: Tour Guides, Reading Buddies, Bottle Cap Club, Library Leaders, Kindness Ninjas, Math Buddies, Yearbook Club, Scrub Club, Jolly Follies, and Little Library Leaders, as well as represent students on the Veterans Day and Red Ribbon Week Committees.
