400 of Palombi’s sixth and seventh graders enjoyed an adventurous time at Camp Duncan this fall. Camp Duncan is much more than a place to take students on a field trip. It is a special place that gives students hands-on experience with nature through enriching activities in the outdoors. Students participated in several team-building activities that fostered leadership, trust, communication, teamwork, and listening skills. This experience was the perfect complement to the district’s Leader in Me program which promotes all students as leaders.
