Students and staff started the new school year with virtual camps. Antioch CCSD 34 hosted the annual 6th grade transition, band and orchestra camps in a virtual setting. Students and parents can visit the AUGS Transition to 6th Grade website to review additional information about transitioning to 6th grade by reviewing short videos that highlighted the 6th grade teachers and Encore teachers, a how-to video on navigating the website to find teacher webpages and a video tour of the building. More presentations were created by students from the AUGS National Junior Honor Society Chapter.
Band and Orchestra Camp met virtually the week of August 3-7, 2020. There were over 40 students that participated in camp. Students were offered large and small group lessons during their time with Ms. Pucci, Mrs. Mack and Mr. Dudley. Although an unconventional camp, the students still received topnotch lessons by amazing staff.
The AUGS staff is dedicated to supporting students and families during the 2020-21 school year.
