Eighth Grade National Junior Honor Society members worked to create welcome gifts for fourth grade students who will be entering the fifth grade next year. They thought that personalized highlighters could help the incoming group keep themselves organized. The eighth grade students will host a question and answer session with the fourth graders soon to help calm their nerves and teach them what to expect as they transition into junior high. They have been brainstorming, trying to remember their biggest concerns and struggles from when they became fifth graders and also how they solved those problems and became successful junior high students!
