Throughout the 2019-2020 school-year, Grass Lake School will be focusing on Kindness in the Classroom. All students in Kindergarten through eighth grade will be receiving the Kindness Curriculum from the Random Acts of Kindness Foundation. The curriculum covers the following six concepts: Caring, Courage, Respect, Responsibility, Integrity and Inclusiveness. The Lake County Sheriff’s department will be supporting Grass Lake School in teaching the Kindness Curriculum. Once a month, officers will meet with all students to discuss one of the six main concepts.
